Wimbledon Wildkats are Champions!: 23 April 2007 - The Wildkats beat the ladies of Downsview Prison 3-0 (25-8, 25-8, 25-9) on Saturday enabling them to take an unassailable lead in the Surrey Volleyball League Ladies Division. Meanwhile the Werewolves beat Egham away in Division 3 but the Wolves lost a tight game away to British Airways 3-1 in Division 1.

Wildkats vs Guildford: Wildkats won their first game of the season aginst G'ford in striaght sets.
The game saw some ome "wildkatesque" scrapping to win the first set 25-23, and a great run of serves by Sonja in the second to take the set 25-17. The girls kept their heads together throughout the third and went on to take the set 25-2.

Thanks to Guildford for a great game, some swesome hitting through 4 and some cheeky tips that kept us on our toes (and our knees!)

Catfight - Wildkats vs Teddington Tigers: Sunday 29th October, 3-1 win to Wimbledon Wildkats.

Wildkats stormed the first set with a 25-8 win and then kicked back a little too much in the second, letting their opponents get ahead at the start of the set and then they were unable to claw their way back. Teddington took the second set 25-18. A beautiful run of 11 serves in the third set by Sonja secured a 25-7 set win and a 2-1 lead for the Wildkats. The fourth and final set saw more rallies and Wildkats got themselves into a higher gear and took the set 25-21.

There was some great line hitting by Katja and Sonja, and Courtney also landed a few of beauties right on the back line - making sure that line refs were keeping an eye on the game! Passing left a little to be desired, however Jo and Manu worked hard and still managed to set up some great balls for the hitters. Great work by the subs for stepping in and picking the team up when needed.

Oh, and not forgetting the HaB's for their sideline support!

Wildkats vs Ashcombe: Wildkats fought hard against Ashcombe to win the game 3-1. Superior fitness on the wildkats side paid off and they wore down the Ashcombe attack with consistent defence and some spectacular htting.

BA vs Wildkats (3-1), but what a game!: Although the Wildkats lost 3-1 against BA, they showed the form and potential which stretched the top team in the league all the way! After narrowly losing the first, the Kats rallied to win the second. The third and fourth were lost closely with all sets going in to the 20's.
